Arm Restraints - Simpson

Description

Simpson Arm Restraints, 2 Separate Straps, SFI 3.3

Arm restraints are designed to keep a driver's arms inside the vehicle during a roll-over. They are required by most North American racing organizations in cars with open cockpits.

Each arm cuff has a strap with a loop at the end. Simply thread the lap belt end tab through the loop before buckling the belt. This allows the arms to be free as soon as the belt buckle is released. Works with any lap belt, Camlock or Latch & Link.

These restraints can be adjusted so they do not restrict the arms during normal driving. This makes them ideal for road racing, where the driver needs enough freedom of movement for hand signals to workers and other drivers. SFI 3.3 approved.

Tip: Do not pull the seat belt webbing through the loop of the arm restraint. Doing so will make it more difficult to get out of the car in a hurry. You want the arm restraints to be free immediately when you release the harness buckle.
